He is responsible for the Development of Healthcare informatics solutions, more specifically the Telemedicine, Hospital EHRs, and HIAL product lines at Telus Health.
Gagnon has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. Prior to joining Telus, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Bluestreak technology, CTO and general manager-Canada for Healthvision, and Canadian Country manager for Lawson Healthcare (Infor). He has held various high-level management positions with major software and telecommunication companies, notably Nuance and InfoSpace.
As a researcher, Gagnon published in the speech and natural language processing field and was the Canadian Delegate and Secretary of the NATO RSG.10 group, devoted to speech research and multimodal user interfaces. He is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec and holds a M.Sc. degree from University of Ottawa and a B.Sc. from Université Laval.
