Gary Faulkner, Director, Research and Technology, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton, AB. Former Professor of Mechanical Engineering at University of Alberta, he has more than 25 years of experience in the bioengineering area related to head and neck reconstruction (percutaneous implants, bone anchored hearings and orthodontics). His areas of research include solid mechanics, vibration, acoustics, and experimental mechanics. A current project involves use of a non-invasive impact technique coupled with signal analysis to monitor the stability of percutaneous implants.
